A new film on the Indian diaspora experience in America is currently under production. The film Silhouettes, is the creation of Chicago based film director, Tom Silva, whose first film the Quiet was named best independent film by the Chicago Screen Magazine. To Silva, the film is a reflection of the Indian experience in North America and reflects his perception that Indian-Americans are under-represented in mainstream American cinema.
